Our Cold Brew comes in 12 oz bottles, ready to drink straight from the fridge. There are a lot of ways to make cold brew, but we believe there's only one right way, and this is it.
How we make it
We brew the grounds for a very long time, 24 hours, at a really cold temperature, about 40 degrees. That's the whole method, and we don't take shortcuts on either number.
Why brew it cold?
Most cold coffee is brewed hot and then iced or refrigerated, which can leave it tasting sharp and sour. Brewing cold dramatically slows down extraction. Because the water is so cold, the coffee needs those 24 hours to give up its sweetest flavor, and it does it without the acidity. What you taste is a much smoother, full-bodied cup with a chocolatey side.
Is there more caffeine?
Sadly, no. Cold brewing pulls only about half as much caffeine as hot brewing. We make up for it by using about twice as much coffee, so a glass of our Cold Brew ends up with about the same caffeine as a normal cup of coffee.
